Today I’m sharing this picture of Nate at the LifeTime Cafe to share a big announcement: I’ve been going to the gym and venturing BEYOND THE CAFE. That’s right. After more than two years of using the LifeTime Cafe as my own personal office, I’ve been using the gym for its intended purpose.
Working out.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been going to yoga, which is a world of its own, and truly, it’s own blog post. I think it’s helping stretch out my bunched up muscles. It’s also made me realize there’s a whole world of cute yoga pants I haven’t even discovered yet.
Too bad they all cost more than my entire collection of jeans.
(Speaking of things that cost more than my entire collection of jeans, the woman and the Louis Vuitton purse in the background of this picture make me smile. I’m sure she’s very sweet, but her photo-bomb expression is an unfortunate one. Very suburban snobby.)
Because I’m usually starving after yoga class, Nate and I head to the cafe, where I inhale gluten-free lunches, and Nate eats gluten-laden muffins, like this one. Because these muffins are as big as his head, he usually can’t finish them. And, let me tell you, it takes every shred of my Lenten dedication to not eating refined carbs that I don’t just polish off those muffins in three quick bits.
Or maybe one quick bite.
I guess I could always offer those leftovers to the woman in the background of this picture.
In exchange for her purse.
Or some new yoga pants.
