Act I…Leaving Home
Scene 1… M leaves for work early. Tina has four kids to get out the door in 20 minutes. Chaos ensues.
Scene 2… Sam and Elisabeth spend the next 20 minutes wrestling on the floor.
Scene 3…Tina sends Catie to the neighbors to catch a ride to school
Scene 4… Nate choses this morning to sleep in until 8 AM.
Scene 5…Elisabeth completely loses it because she doesn’t have the apple she’s supposed to bring.
Scene 6…Tina throws a sleepy Nate in his carseat.
Scene 7…Tina also throws shoeless twins, shoes, brushes, and bows into the backseat.
Scene 8. Arrive to school on-time. Discover the kids’ backpacks and lunches are still by the back door.
Intermission
Act II… The Apples
Scene 1…Tina rushes to Wal-Mart to buy the two apples that she forgot to buy at the store last night.
Scene 2…At the store visions of baking a sugar-free, gluten-free birthday cake distract her.
Scene 3…An odd bearded man checks her out. He’s odd because he doesn’t look up. Ever.
Scene 4…Tina rushes home for the backpacks and to unload the Stevia and Agave syrup.
Scene 5… No apples. Apparently they’re still at Wal-Mart with the bearded, mute man.
Scene 6…Back to Wal-Mart, resist pointing out that the bag carousal thingie may not be effective.
Scene 7…Deliver apples and book bags and lunches to the twins’ school. Nate growing impatient.
Scene 8…Applause!
