1. We have new neighbors! I took this picture when the kids brought a care package of leftover birthday candy to their house. Because they have kids! Maybe the homebuyers read this post? The other news is that another house in our neighborhood is for sale.
2. The kids are I have crossed some line the last couple days. Summer has moved past the “This is so wonderful that we have hours together just hanging out!” to the phenomenon familiar to moms everywhere that my kids seem to have gone deaf. Deaf in that I seem to say things like, “let’s put our shoes away!” like 7 times before anyone hears me. When does school start again?
3. So, we’re church shopping. This is both fun and tedious. It’s so interesting (and uplifting) to see so many different worship styles. But trying to make a decision is tough. Maybe there’s a book out there we should read about picking a church.
4. I have a new office. Nate moved in with Sam, leaving a downstairs bedroom as the Communication Center/Tina’s office. I love it. Mostly we rearranged rooms to get my stuff out of M’s office and give him more space in there. He’s working from home a lot more lately. I love that very much.
5. Now that we’ve adjusted to being home, I’m ready for a trip. Has anyone tried the pleasure pier in Galveston? Maybe we’ll go there tomorrow. Or to the beach.
Either way, I hope you have a great weekend!
