I don’t even know how to explain this picture.
I mean, you can probably see what’s happening here. We are starting to potty-train our fourth child. Those of you with more than one child know, M and I are not actually doing the potty-training. The older brothers and sisters are all into the will-he-pee-or-not drama.
For the record, he did not pee. Not even once. This means the older siblings’ enthusiasm will wane quickly. They are not a patient bunch. This is best shown by Nate’s posture in the picture. Clearly they are telling him to “Hurry up! GO POTTYYYYYYY!”
In other pottying news, today is my SEVENTH HUNDRED BLOG ENTRY! Four things you need to know about that…
1. I never thought I would even manage ten blog entries. Let alone one hundred. Let alone SEVEN HUNDRED!
2. My first blog entry was about potty training twins. I still consider potty training twins to be one of the greatest achievements of my life. Seriously. I must have done a good job because look what experts they are at demanding their brother pee on demand.
3. More than three years ago, when I wrote that first blog entry about potty training twins, I made the picture really small. This potty-training picture is bigger. Either I’ve come to feel so comfortable with you that I can share all our adventures in their full-sized beauty. Or, I’m so used to kids running around half-naked, I barely notice anymore.
4. Probably both. I do love those of you who read this blog every day. I’m so comfortable with you. Thanks for stopping by.
