Peace, Love, and Mardi Gras

So much news to report!
We Mardi Gras-ed it up this weekend, and I have hundreds of pictures to prove it. Unfortunately, the photographic evidence is on my camera, and I can’t find my camera cord. I don’t know why I’m telling you this. The camera cord surely disappeared when one of the kids was playing a lasso game with it, which means you probably don’t know where it is. Hopefully I’ll find it tomorrow, so you can relive the Bead Extravaganza with us. Here’s a hint about the craziness: this picture was taken early in the day, before the kids had a chance to catch most of the beads. In other words, the Hergenrader Kids will be hosting an intricate Bead Shop to make money off the generosity of those on the floats.
That was the Mardi Gras portion of our weekend. The rest of it was also so, so busy. We saw lots of friends and went to so many places, and now we’re all ready for a little peace and quiet. Unfortunately, I just looked at the calendar and realized our WEEK is also crazy. And it’s Valentines Day.
And about the LOVE…this week’s Love Rules Bible Study is up. GO, check it out, and leave a comment. C’mon. You can do it!
