Our kids have a collective dream. A vision. A goal.
All four of them love the retro TV show, America’s Funniest Home Videos.
They laugh until they cry at the grandmas falling down and wedding cakes tumbling over. They can’t get enough.
The Hergenrader Child fantasy is for our family to one day be on that show. (Is it still a show? Are our kids so sheltered they only love a program that’s been off the air for decades? If so, that’s too bad. Not too bad that our kids are so sheltered but too bad that the show was popular at a time before every person carried a video camera in their pockets. But I guess that’s what YouTube is for.)
I digress.
