What do you see when you look at this table? For years, I saw our family gathering place. Since we’ve replaced this table and sent it to our garage, I see the thing as a big space hog.

I recently posted it on Craigslist, as my very first try at the website. Since we’ve only had one (bogus, I’d like to add) contact about it, I now see that this table isn’t going anywhere for a while.
Except back into our garage.
I would also love to paint the table aqua, something like this, and then paint each of the chairs a bright color. Lots of red. Maybe get each of the kids to personalize a chair. Bring some color and fun to our back patio that currently features a dark wood table.
Ideas like this make my engineer husband scratch his head. Apparently there’s a lot of stripping and sanding that go with projects like this? Please advise if you don’t, in fact, see an aqua and red table for our back patio when you look at this picture.
I also see spots. All. The. Time. The good news is that the doctor confirmed my retinas are firmly attached! Apparently the spots are related (surprise, surprise) to the chronic virus. And nothing to worry about.
Tomorrow we’ll find out more about what Sam sees. He squints a lot, so tomorrow is his turn at the eye doctor. My guess is that his squinting is just a nervous habit. Something he does when he’s contemplating an important idea.
Like maybe how our table would look turquoise.
