Do you know this song? From Bill Cosby’s comedy routine in the 70s or 80s?
We often sing the song “Dad is Great! Givin’ us chocolate cake!” when M gives the kids a less-than-healthy breakfast.
This cake actually is healthy. Our beloved Ms. Barb makes it for us every couple weeks. It’s chock full of zucchini, nuts, antioxidants, and other immune-boosting foods. Nate (and I) can’t get enough.
And I always sing that Bill Cosby song to him.
If you have the time, watch the clip. Even after all these years, it’s so funny. Maybe ESPECIALLY after all these years, since now I have kids, and I know how true much of it is.
