Bare feet and sparkly toes.
Of course we have the requisite pictures of picking out the tree. And the snapshots of the kids putting the angel on top. And you saw Nate on his climb to the top so that he could pitch a few ornaments off the tree.
But here’s the underbelly (or underfoot) part of our Christmas decorating this year.
The shedding.
Tinsel from the garland that snakes up the stairs.
Pine needles everywhere (!) that have dripped off the tree.
So, out kids’ barefoot toes (after all, this is Texas, even during Advent we don’t wear shoes) are sparkly.
Those four feet are proof that it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here.
