We try to eat outside any chance the menu (hello, smoothies!) and weather (hello, cooler than 90 degrees!) will allow.
Displayed in this photo are some of the ingredients that make eating out(side) so fun. Houston’s humidity necessitates an adult beverage. This week the kids grilled homemade quesadillas. They piled on cheese, more cheese, and even more–and then throw some veggies on to make Mom happy.
Kids + open flame = Daddy needed a beer. Or two.
Nate also needed his bottle. But not really. Really he just sat on my lap and marveled at his older, screaming siblings.
Sam’s water gun/bubble blaster is for any dull moment around here. I’ve always said bubbles are the tequila shots of a kid party.
And the dog on the table?
She’s just part of the scenery.
And an excellent quesadilla vacuum.
