…that Nate is rolling over.

I’m so embarrassed to admit I’m not sure. Especially after my post about the audience Catie had. I’ve heard Nate is rolling over. But I haven’t seen it.
The problem is that Ellie is the roll-over messenger, and I’m just not sure she’s sure.
She loves to watch Nate in his crib. This actually is a problem since her habit of standing on the side rails, her face approximately two millimeters from his, tends to keep him awake when he really should be sleeping.
But they both love it, and who am I to interrupt some sibling bonding…that also occupies both of them?
And while she watches Nate, she yells a running commentary of his activity to me. A few days ago she yelled, “Nate rolled over!” I was in the bathroom holding Sam’s pants up for him as he slllooowwwllly put them on. He insists that he can’t put them on himself. He can, of course, and we both know it. But that small detail is the battle. The war is getting him to take them off in time to go potty. I’m fighting the war, not the battle.
Anyway, when I got into Nate’s room…sure enough! He was on his side/tummy. But Ellie’s hands were under him, and I’m just not sure she didn’t turn him that way.
So now we’re all on Roll-Over Watch. And today is his four-month birthday, about the time his siblings all rolled over.
I’ll report back if Ellie’s news was fact or fiction.
