I can’t feel my right arm. This is because of the EIGHT Ibuprofen I’ve taken since I woke up this morning. I took the EIGHT Ibuprofen because the right side of my back, radiating down my right arm, is a ball of tensed muscle. As a result of all THAT, my fingers are numb, and my typing is subpar.
So, today’s post has lots of pictures!
These pictures are also to show you Nate. This is Nate NOT being held. Because OHMYGOODNESS with the pain. It’s no mystery where the bunched and stretched and strained muscles are coming from….just check out this heavy, happy boy. This boy who LOVES to be held.
But not yesterday.
Here’s Nate crawling at a park while I popped more Advil in my mouth.
Below is Nate crawling at another park while I called and scheduled a massage (that, in the end, didn’t help the pain).

The next picture is of Nate calling some ducks while I give myself an awkward self-massage (while standing guard to see if I would need to jump in the lake after Nate).

Here’s Nate chasing ducks, while I texted M and kvetched about my arm and back pain. He suggested taking Advil or getting a massage. Not helping, buddy. On the bright side, I’m not pregnant. Every other time I’ve had a two-and-a-half year old, I’ve also been really pregnant. So, at least I have got that going for me.

Here’s Nate calling the ducks and telling me, “Hold me, Mommy!” Massage and ibuprofen and self-massage might not help. But you know what does seem to help? Lots of complaining (so, thanks for listening), NOT being pregnant, and not holding Nate.
