So, Bestoftimes.com turns 100 today.
It’s hard to believe that six months ago I wasn’t sure if I would write ten entries–let alone 100.
And in the past six months, I’ve covered everything from the twins’ potty training to Catie starting a new school (and bus!) to the birth of Nate.
Actually I’ve pretty much only covered those things. To be fair, those three changes have pretty much dominated our lives.
Here are a few other 100 going on right now (plus more about the new school, potty training, and Nate)…
100…kisses that Nate gets…per kid…per day.
100…minutes it takes Catie to take her nightly shower.
100…articles of clothing on the floor after Catie’s nightly shower.
100…snacks cluttering our pantry floor (individual packages of fruit snacks and goldfish in the pantry are like gold in a vault to me).
100…number of kisses Nate got this morning…after he slept from 10pm until 5 am. Can I get an alleluia?
Thank you.
100…number of pacis Nate has (after three kids we’ve learned there’s safety in numbers, and pacis stuffed in his crib, diaper bag, parents’ pockets, siblings’ pockets, dog dish, car seats, etc. are better than gold in a vault. Or a golden vault. Because how would a golden vault quiet a crying baby?
100… our kids in pounds (approximately) That’s almost 40 for Catie, about 25 for each of the twins, and 10 for Nate.
100… shopping days until Christmas. Actually it’s 94 shopping days, but the amount of things I need to accomplish between now and then blows my mind so I thought I’d pad the number a bit.
100…days ago the twins were still two, Catie was still five, M. and I were both still 35, and Nate was kicking me in utero. About 100 times a day.
100… the amount of “accidents” Sam has in his pants in a week. Or, sometimes, the number he has in a day. Oh, I wish I was kidding.
100…the number of times (per week) M. and I marvel at how different Ellie is than our other kids.
100…the amount of posts I hope I can write in the next six months!
