So, there’s something we need to talk about.
But it would be nice if we could talk about it very quietly.
It has been brought to my attention that Sam is a VERY LOUD TALKER.
By “brought to my attention” I mean that Sam talks very loud all the time. And he still has that sweet(?) childish voice that is especially shrill. I’m sure I’ll miss his sweet little-boy voice one day.
Right now? It’s just kind of loud.
Sam’s very loud, sweet, shrill voice is especially noticeable (or especially NOT noticeable) in a large(ish) family like ours, when everyone likes to talk.
Do you know the innate reaction every human has when they are trying to say something important, but someone else is talking louder than them?
They also start to talk loudly.
And more shrilly.
So, this means that the backseat of my van is usually filled with four very loud, very shrill voices.
This is why, when I am alone in my car, I often drive around Houston in complete silence.
Also, if you know that shrill, really loud talking is some kind of learning disability or dysfunction, you should probably tell me about it.
But could you do it very quietly?
