And in that way he’s grown by two feet–his own two feet, that he now uses in the way that God intended.
This new bravado that walking provides him makes him even more feisty. More likely to tackle Maddie, our dog. More likely to tackle his older siblings. More likely to demand gummies. More likely to try to walk up the stairs unassisted.
And, when he’s tired of all that, more likely to crawl, too.
Here is, perhaps, the last picture of him crawling. Just about a week shy of his 18-month birthday.
But, with his new confidence, even crawling involves a new component.
