Sam has been embracing his inner daddy since he was old enough to march around the kitchen with a stroller and call Ellie, “honey, mommy.”
It must be the excellent example M. has been to our kids. He’s taught them that men can help take care of kids just as much as women. Sometimes you have to look past the obstacles to get the job done–even if that means pushing a pink stroller. Exercise is important…and some days the only workout you can squeeze in is running around the kitchen yelling, “I’m Daddy! I’m Daddy! I’m Daddy!”–while pushing that pink stroller. If your kid is too noisy, stick some old Happy Meal toys in the stroller with him/her. Real men don’t worry about matching…and aren’t afraid to wear ’70s palm tree graphic prints with terry cloth blue shorts.
