Last week we had parent conferences with Sam’s teacher. She told us that Sam was a “good communicator.”
That he is. He loves to chat with anyone. His favorite question for grown-ups (after thousands of other questions) is: Do you know EVERYTHING? Excellent communication strategy. Keeps them talking every time.
Another of Sam’s dominant personality traits is that he does not like his picture taken. At all. Which can be a conflict when I, say, want to take his picture. He’ll smile, but he won’t be happy about it.
Exhibit A: This picture.
The Great Communicator is smiling as to avoid trouble, but his rolling eyes tell us exactly what he thinks of it.
Whether it’s hours of chatting or thousands of questions or one priceless picture, our little boy knows how to tell us what he thinks.
