The accusation of mindlessly munching on nuts hit pretty close to home. I think it does for lots of Paleo people since it’s constantly coming up on Paleo sites, like this one:

It seems the main problem most people have with nuts is it prevents them from losing weight. Since I’m not trying to lose weight I’ll keep up with the This is Nuts! meal plan of eating my weight in the things.
And when I’m not eating them in nut butters or by the handful, I’ll put them in recipes, like the picture above.
(Which, by the way, I know the Smokehouse Almonds have all kinds of added flavors that make them not Paleo, but I’m cooking for five other people. Sometimes you gotta break the rules. Especially since these taste a lot like bacon. Mmmm. Bacon. That’s another food addiction post for another day.)
