…the twins were in diapers. On my list of biggest accomplishments I count potty training them. Ugh.
…Catie had not lost any teeth. Oh, the drama that would follow.
…there was no Nate. If I didn’t remember how busy we were, this would make me sad. But it wasn’t time for Nate yet. We were still recovering from the shock of the twins’ first six months. And being too tired to recall things like our names. Or being too tired to even realize what was happening.
…the twins still used pacis. So glad to see those gone. Baby sucking a paci…sweetest sound in the world. Toddler with a paci…germy.
…Ellie now wears that skirt Catie has on. Nate is getting ready for his next batch of clothes from the attic…which includes the clothes Sam is wearing. Wow. The twins were little when we moved into this house.
Two years ago I had no idea the work ahead of us, the love we had in store for us, and the excitement and energy life would demand.
I’m guessing the next two years are filled with more of the same.
And I count THAT one of our biggest blessings.
