So, we had a problem. I’m redoing the Game Room to become an Art Room. And, no, that’s not the problem. Although if my husband was cynical (a-hem) he might suggest it is.
The problem is that I’m making bead and sticker tables (complete with their own storage! genius! pictures to follow soon!) from these ancient, ugly tables we’ve had for years.
M cut a hole in the first one. I needed a hole the EXACT same space and size as the first to fit the buckets I bought.
How to do it?
M looked at it. Then he asked me. I mumbled “diameter” and “circumference.” I figured the whole problem had something to do with pi and finding the area of a circle.
(I’m reading Einstein’s biography, which is 704 pages and FULL of words like inertia and relativity. I feel like this qualifies me to talk about diameter.)

Here’s how M solved the problem.
And then he traced and cut a hole in the (circumference? diameter?) of the second table.
Genius! I’m not sure even Einstein would have thought of that.

LOL!! Tarps, Hergenraders!! Don’t you ever use tarps for your various painting projects? The homeowners association is calling a special meeting as I type to plan your eviction for defacing the driveway. Love it all. Can’t wait to see the new art room photos. (-:
