Welcome to the season of Thanksgiving. Bring on the cooler weather; the “I’m Thankful For….” lists; the gatherings around our table; and the millions of ways we will say “thanks” to each other by giving. This whole season–this season of thankfulness before Advent–inspires me.
I’m grateful for each of you who has gathered your friends and neighbors and colleagues to read Love Rules and learn more about God’s love. I so appreciate your sweet messages about how this study has helped you understand love. I’m especially thankful for those of you who have bravely shared your stories–in the book, in your Bible study groups, or with your dearest friends. Sharing our stories is so important because it helps us better understand what God is doing in our lives. Truly, I thank you for your vulnerability and bravery.
